Power generation at Shanghai Chemical Industry Park is Combined Cycle. High Purity Water provides boiler feed and reduction of NOX (Greenhouse Gas) emissions together with export water to industry.
RAW WATER FEED PUMPS
Incoming feed water from the tank farm is drawn into the Feed Water Pumpset suction from a header. High level delivery header drops to floor level and exits the pumphouse to a below ground distribution trench.
Within the Water Treatment Building below floor level trenches are utilised extensively to make maximum use of available space. Extremely efficient fabricated steel Heat Exchangers use the high latent heat capacity of superheated steam to maintain 625cum/hr of feed water at a constant 25oC with a minimal footprint.
Packaged Ultrafiltration System approximately 7 metres high comprising of two banks each with 14 pressure vessels each containing 4 UF elements. Total capacity per skid is 625 cubic metres per hour.
Central Bulk Chemical Storage Tanks and bunded area open to atmosphere for venting purposes. Covered to protect from sunlight and rain.bic metres per hour.
CHEMICAL DOSING ROOM
Chemical Dosing Stations comprising Tanks and Duplicate Pumpsets. Floor is sealed and bunded to contain spillage.
REVERSE OSMOSIS FEED PUMPS
Suction connections rise from below floor header. Since each pump is dedicated to a bank of membranes and each system is sequentially controlled automatic valves are fitted. Pumps are multi-stage end suction type. Outlet pipework is stainless steel
Membrane banks arranged as two: one array. 7 metre long pressure vessels each containing 6 Filmtec BW8040 membranes.
All tanks are constructed from carbon steel plates and are of welded assembly. Tank linings vary to suit the stored materials. Water tanks are epoxy coated internally.
