NANGANG UTILITY ISLAND TIANJIN, CHINA

Nangang Industrial Zone located in Dagang is a 200km2 petrochemical Industrial Park including manufacturing and port facilities. The Utility Island is a self contained nucleus providing water, high specification commodity salt with integral power generation and Zero Liquid Discharge capability reflecting the regeneration ethos of TEDA (Tianjin Economic Development Area).

When complete Nangang will be China's largest seawater desalination project comprising seawater extraction and pre-treatment, industrial water, potable water, Ultra Pure Water and salt extraction.
